Family Hospital Systems offers 24/7 emergency care services. We offer a comprehensive range of medical services to address a wide variety of urgent healthcare needs.


24/7 Availability: Full-service emergency rooms are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing access to emergency medical care at any time.


Triage and Assessment: Upon arrival, patients are promptly assessed by trained triage nurses or other medical professionals to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize care accordingly.


Emergency Medical Treatment: Full-service emergency rooms are equipped to handle a broad spectrum of medical emergencies, including:

    • Trauma care for injuries resulting from accidents, falls, or other traumatic events.
    • Treatment for acute medical conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and respiratory distress.
    • Management of acute exacerbations of chronic conditions, such as asthma attacks or diabetic emergencies.
    • Evaluation and stabilization of psychiatric emergencies, including acute psychosis or suicidal ideation.
    • Obstetric emergencies, including complications during pregnancy or childbirth.

Diagnostic Services: Full-service emergency rooms typically offer a range of diagnostic tests and imaging studies to aid in the evaluation and diagnosis of medical conditions, including:

    • Laboratory testing, such as blood tests, urinalysis, and cultures.
    • Imaging studies, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound.

Emergency Procedures and Interventions: Emergency rooms are equipped to perform a variety of medical procedures and interventions, such as:

    • Wound care and suturing for lacerations and minor injuries.
    • Intravenous (IV) therapy for fluid resuscitation and medication administration.
    • Splinting and casting for fractures and musculoskeletal injuries.
    • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) interventions for cardiac arrest or other life-threatening cardiac emergencies.
    • Airway management and mechanical ventilation for respiratory failure.

Medication Administration: Emergency rooms have the capability to administer medications, including:

    • Pain management medications for acute pain relief.
    • Antiemetics for nausea and vomiting.
    • Antidotes for poisoning or overdose.
    • Antibiotics for treatment of infections.

Referral and Coordination of Care: If further evaluation or specialized treatment is needed, emergency room staff can arrange for admission to the hospital, transfer to a higher level of care facility, or referral to appropriate specialists for follow-up care.
